Who we are
Elite Plus Garage (Bosch Car Service) operates this website at https://eliteplusgarage.co.uk. We are the data controller for the personal information collected here. Our registered company details are published once onboarding is complete — see the site footer.
What we collect
When you use our contact/enquiry or booking form, we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, phone number, vehicle registration, the service you're asking about, and any message you write. We do not collect any information you don't give us directly through that form, and we do not use tracking cookies to build advertising profiles.
Why we collect it
We use the details you submit solely to respond to your enquiry — to call or message you back about booking, pricing, or the question you asked. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interest: responding to an enquiry you initiated. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Who processes it
This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard web request logs (e.g. IP address, page requested) as part of running the site. Once our enquiry email is fully configured, form submissions will also be processed by Resend, our transactional email provider, solely to deliver your enquiry to us. Until that's configured, form submissions are not stored or emailed anywhere — see "How long we keep it" below.
We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous, aggregate visitor and performance statistics — it does not use cookies or identify you personally. Where enabled, we also use Google Analytics (GA4) for the same purpose; it is not currently switched on for this site, and if it is turned on in future it will only load with a consent-appropriate configuration.
Our online booking page also loads the official Bosch Car Service booking tool, operated by Mobility Media on Bosch's behalf. If you use that tool, the details you enter into it are sent directly to Bosch Car Service's booking platform under their own terms, not stored by us — see Bosch's own privacy notice for how they handle it. If you'd rather not use it, the callback form further down the same page keeps your details with us, handled as described above.
How long we keep it
Right now, our enquiry email isn't fully configured yet: if you submit the form, your details are validated and then discarded — nothing is stored or emailed on our end, and you'll see an honest message telling you to leave your number instead. Once email delivery is live, we'll keep enquiry details for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, where you become a customer, for as long as required to support your vehicle's service history and our legal/accounting obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to ask us to delete it (subject to any legal requirement we have to keep certain records). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on our Contact page. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have mishandled your data.
